How much is a poor/fair condition custom firmware PSP 1000?My old PSP 1000 has quite a few scratches on the front, the battery is failing and only lasts but 30mins-1hr, and the battery cover falls off from time to time. Everything else works 100% perfectly.
The PSP has a custom firmware on it.
How much can i get for it?

If it is in as good condition as you mentioned, you could probably sell it on ebay for around $ 80.00 starting price. If it has custom firmware, you could probably sell it for around $ 150 starting price on ebay if you take a good picture of the phone. Craiglist is also a good website for selling electronics and other things, so that might be another website to think about. You might be able to sell it in a yard sale, but that might take a little time, but probably not too long. I wouldn’t trade it in at gamestop though because they give you like 1/4 of what you paid for it originally, and then they sell it for $ 100.00, which is just ripping off consumers. So if you were going to sell it, I would sell it either online, in a yard sale, or possibly to a friend. Anyway, I hope I helped. Happy selling.
P.S They have brand new psp 1000s on amazon.com online selling for $ 400.00. Just go to amazon.com and type in the exact words “Playstation Portable Core (psp 1000)” and you will find the brand new fat psps for sale.

There is NOWAY youd get $ 150 for that. NO WAY!
Id buy it for about $ 75-80 max, someone would be stupid to pay $ 150 for that. PSP 1000 (phats) are the best for homebrew IMO but still, failing battery, scratches…yea its beat up…might break $ 100…MIGHT..
Any games? How big is the stick? Only thing that will boost the price is a 2 gig or up stick, 1 gigs are VERY cheap these days…if its just the PSP and usb cable and its modded….not going to get much as its “easy” to mod it if you have a Pandora battery and at least 1 gig, regardless….later.

Ohh man your probably having the same problem i had, there are really five steps to hacking a psp. But mainly get on youtube and type in how to install custom firmware 3.95 gen, then type ion how to pandora a battery, then type how to make a magic memory stick then how to load in the files then how to emulate, iso psp games on a hacked psp. I hacked my slim the slim battery is easier buti hacked fat ones too, be VERY VERY carful when you open the battery.
As well on one more note if at any point and time your having trouble and need to reset your psp just look up how to restore psp to factory settings. Ive had to do this many times.
Believe me there’s a million vids out there on how to do this, even the slightest mess up can throw off your hacking but i promise i did it. Took me 4 days of research but make sure your vid is on a fat psp and not a slim make sure you do an older firmware at first then update to a later one.
